Canvas also has other great features. A small toolbar at the bottom right allows you to run standard AI-driven text transformations, such as adjusting length or adding emoticons to the text, without having to prompt for it. Additionally, Canvas provides the ability for ChatGPT to leave comments in your document, similar to a collaborator in the Google Docs environment.

Strengthening the Chatbot’s Position

It is evident that OpenAI is either lagging behind or has already been overtaken by Anthropic in terms of functionality. Recently, Anthropic has gained significant momentum—Claude Sonnet 3.5 was a discovery for many AI enthusiasts this summer.
