Artificial Intelligence Video Generation Platforms: Magical Alchemy in Today’s World

Imagine being able to create stunning images almost out of thin air! Today, this is possible with artificial intelligence (AI) video generation platforms, akin to modern alchemy laboratories transforming words into images.

While there are many AI video generation platforms in the world (about 150!), only a few are truly noteworthy. In this text, we will review the 6 best platforms that I have worked with:

Midjourney:

The undisputed leader, opening the doors to image creation for everyone, regardless of design skills or software.

Cons: ethical issues and more complex access via Discord server.

Jasper:

An ambitious competitor in the high-resolution image area, but currently a bit behind.

Cons: lower capabilities in terms of image depth, detail, resolution, and motion.

Leonardo:

Generates photorealistic images, especially effective with short descriptions.

Pros: simple interface, wide functionality, image editing options, creating moving images.

A big plus is the free version with 150 credits per day.

Ideogram:

An easily usable, creative, and versatile platform with a free base version.

Cons: falls short in terms of functionality and quality compared to predecessors.

Rapidly developing, but prone to errors, limited image size, sometimes misunderstands complex descriptions.

Craiyon:

A graphic AI engine developed and improved by Lithuanians.

Aiming for high quality and a friendly environment, no data collection, usable without registration.

Generates abstracts, concepts, and objects.

Cons: lack of capabilities, AI does not understand complex descriptions, lesser functionality.

Creative output, but the quality is inconsistent.

DALL-E2, E3:

The favorite due to the best user interface and ease of use.

Highly realistic images, high resolution, efficient combination of concepts, attributes, and styles.

A wide choice of different styles (from cyberpunk to impressionism).

Recognizes various genres (poster, mind map, illustration, etc.).

Cons: a stronger ethics engine, making it harder to create risquΓ© images and political memes.

In summary: the best AI video generation platforms open the doors to a world of creativity and imagination. Choosing the right platform, anyone can become an image creator, regardless of technical skills.

Whether you are a professional designer or just enjoy creating, AI video generation platforms can be useful in various fields:

Try these platforms and discover the power of your imagination!

Best AI Image Generation Platforms: Alchemy of Words

Author: Tomas Staniulis, AI consultant

“In a workshop occupying two basement rooms, Paracelsus prayed to his God, an undefined God, any God, to send him a disciple.” This is how the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, a genius of magical realism, began his novella “The Rose of Paracelsus” in the first half of the 20th century. Today we are here, in magical realism, where the word becomes flesh.

To be honest, I feel this way myself sometimes – I don’t know if I’m waiting for a student or looking for a teacher to teach me the art of AI. Especially since the fountain of artificial images that shot out in two years, together with Midjourney and a number of other platforms, only further amplifies human curiosity and the ambitions of the creator.

It seems that the eye can’t get enough – current AI image generation platforms allow you to create incredible images from practically nothing! The alchemy of words takes us back to the Middle Ages, when it was believed that using a spell could turn base metal into gold. Or, in the case of Paracelsus, raise a burnt rose from ashes.

TOP 6 artificial intelligence image generation platforms

Currently, there are approximately 150 different AI image generation platforms in the world. From clumsy and complex, inconvenient and unsustainable, to extremely easy to use, simple, user-friendly – it works like a charm.

In the eyes of Internet users, only about 15 of the mentioned 150 are worthy of attention, the rest are probably ballast. Let’s not delve into the full list, due to the lack of time and space in the text, I will limit myself to the first six nominations, which are really worthy of attention. I have personally worked with all these programs, liked them, and therefore confidently recommend them to others.

    1. Midjourney – you have to bow your head before it, it is the flagship and admiral of the entire fleet of imaging platforms. It showed us that anyone can create images. And it proved that good images are not necessarily the result of arrogant designers or Adobe software. The only downsides are ethical issues, as well as more complicated access via the Discord server. On the other hand, a strong community makes up for everything.
    2. Jasper – this developer’s ambitions were high, but perhaps the bubble may be starting to burst. Basically, it aims to compete in high-resolution imaging, but pales in comparison to the competition in my mind. Image depth, detail, resolution, and motion capabilities are much lower. There are also complaints about prompt comprehension and deeper contextualization.
    3. Leonardo – generates photorealistic images, works extremely effectively with short prompts. Easy and simple user interface, detailed functionality, many image correction options, includes a motion engine that allows to make moving images. The biggest benefit is the free version – 150 credits per day for which around 20-25 images can be generated.
    4. Ideogram – easy to use, extremely creative and versatile, allows you to use the free basic version. Unfortunately, it is inferior to its predecessors in terms of functionality and quality. Although it is developing rapidly, there are a lot of errors, the image size is limited, it does not always understand more complex prompts.
    5. Craiyon – it is worth mentioning because it is a graphic AI image generation engine developed and improved in my home country. Fellow countrymen want to commit to high quality and a user-friendly environment; do not collect data, allows use without registration and restrictions, generate abstracts, concepts, and objects. Unfortunately, it lacks capacity. AI doesn’t understand complex prompts, the functionality is also much lower. Although the result is creative, the quality of the generation is not consistent, sometimes leading to disappointing outcomes.
    6. DALL-E2, E3 – this one is my favorite because it has the best user interface and friendly communication. Extremely realistic images, high resolution, effective combination of concepts, attributes and styles, very democratic and easy to control. Works well with concepts, abstracts and objects. More than 100 different styles, from cyberpunk to impressionism, from film noir to anime, western, rococo and medieval, etc. Recognizes all genres – poster, mind map, illustration, photography, comic, etc., you name it. Disadvantages – stronger moral engine than Midjourney, making it harder to generate sarcastic images and politician memes.

10 useful image generation prompts

Paracelsus was left alone. He poured a pinch of ash into a handful and silently uttered an incantation before blowing out the candle and getting comfortable in his chair. And the rose resurrected. So allow me to sprinkle a pinch of ashes onto your monitor, familiarise yourself with the basic AI video prompts, and we’ll talk again later.
